Sea and Fresh Water
Lighthouse Packing is plaited from high grade flax blended with other natural fibres carefully selected to provide a high wet strength when in contact with sea water thereby ensuring a long packing life. Each strand is thoroughly impregnated with a special water resistant mica lubricant before plaiting.

- Rotary, Reciprocating and Static
- Stern glands and in smaller sizes general purpose water packing

Supplied
In square section 3.0mm, 5.0mm, 6.5mm, 8.0mm in coils of 15 metres; 9.5mm, 11.0mm, 12.5mm, 14.5mm, 16.0mm in coils of 10 metres; 19.0mm and above in coils of 5 metres. Cut rings, intermediate and larger sizes or specified lengths available to order. Can be produced up to 75mm section.
