When Beldam Crossley first invented sealing technology almost a hundred and fifty years ago, it was for the marine industry.
Since that time, we have worked not only to develop our technology but also to find ways in which it can be relevant to new industries. One of these is the automotive industry.
We have worked with several global vehicle companies in the design and manufacture of PTFE derived sealing products. Our decades of experience in blending and machining the material makes us uniquely qualified to do this.
We have introduced several proprietary Crossflon blends that specialise in reducing both weight and friction values. These products have proved highly valuable to the industry.
Components that we have developed have been installed in highly demanding automotive applications originating from Formula 1, meaning outstanding performance and reliability.
